Our Pattaya Getaway

I know this blog is long been due. We planned Pattaya getaway a couple of weeks before my half term break but came the holiday week, as expected, we didn't push thru on the date that we suppose to go. But being a stubborn person, I insisted to go even its half of the week. When it's really unplanned it will happen. We woke up at nearly 1pm, took a bath, pack our things, then go to the bus station. We stopped by the mall because we realized that we haven't eaten our lunch yet. We arrived at the bus station few minutes after 3 then the bus left at half past 3, we arrived at Pattaya at 7pm. Fotofinish ika nga. We decided at first to stay for 2 nights. Of course, there's no booking at all, but because of the reliable lonely planet, we have a hotel in mind at the time. We never thought that October is a high season. We are planning to stay at Apex, because it's cheaper (compared to other guesthouse)with pool and we've seen this on the net and it's quite acceptable, apparently it's full, for goodness sake it's half of the week, they should be all in their work but why are they're here it's not even a national holiday, hehehe! We ended up checking in at Diana Inn. Instead of sleeping on the street, we preferred to sleep in a room that smells cigarette, dirty bath tub, boring tv channels, old and warm ac. However, Chris like their breakfast, especially the french toast and I like the pool eventhough it's not 24 hours accessible.

tama ba namang iwanan ako sa Walking Street!!! He was so amazed with all the agogo club girls(in a really teasing attire) along that soi(actually in whole pattaya). Para na rin namin nawitness ang Angeles Pampangga.


after a long stroll, pose muna. Napagod sa mga pokpok(excuse me po!) FYI, there's really word pokpok here in Thailand, it pertains to a food(SomTum)dinidikdik kasi lahat ng ingredients kaya tawag nila pokpok.


ayan binusog(not pig out) namin ang mga sarili sa seafood restaurant. Quite pricey and yet cheap for seafood.

After eating, we decided to go back to the guesthouse coz there's nothing we can do at all. We are not into going to the clubs, mygosh kakaloka sa kalye pa lang para ka na rin pumasok ng club! all kinds of prostitute ata nandun na-sosyal, jologs, squasqua, simple, pati pang girl next door meron din, babae, lalake, mamili ka!


here I am taking a dip after our breakfast the next day. Chris doesn't like to join me kaya photographer na lang sha! Sight seeing farang(slang term for foreigners) ang trip niya that morning.

We decided to check-out na. Nothing to do kasi sa pattaya, di namin trip ung specialty ng place.


after checking out at 12noon. We strolled the place and showed him where I had my picture na ala tiger woods (golf activity ) kaya ayan meron na rin shang ala TW na shot, un nga lang, niloloko ko sha...tambay sa kanto na golfer kasi naka-slippers, LOL!!!


pinanuod ko na lang si chris kasi di ako hiyang sa golf, hehehe! holiday dapat e, pero trabaho pa rin...dapat pla tinurn-off ko ang cel, hmp!

after si chris pagpawisan sa kaka-golf at ako sa init(during winter daw), we headed to the seashore just to feel the pattaya breeze.

I do not recommend anyone to go to Pattaya, if you're not looking for a one night stand, AIDS, clubs. There are other nice places to see in Thailand. Though there are other places with decent activities but they are mostly located outside the main area(e.g. mini Siam, lake boarding, crocodile farm, snake farm, museums, temples.)
