American Tourister Para-Lite

Since my very first luggage just gave up on me, we are on the lookout for a new one.  Since we are travelling this summer, we are forced to buy as soon as we can or we put our clothes in black bag.  

My husband found this American Tourister luggage a little less than Bht 4k at Big C. There are 3 different sizes and colors but this is the only color that has the biggest size.  Para-Lite is spacious  though it's not expandable and few pockets (there's only one).  The plastic is quite soft, maybe that's why the weight is really light. It's easy to maneuver. The design is sleek but it's not scratch proof.  When you want to put it down and open it, there's no way you can prevent scratches unless you put it on a cloth.  I trust that it's durable due to the brand but I am not sure how long it will serve us.  This is my first experience with American Tourister, so far I like it but we'll see.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Trunki

Trunki

It's summer time and it's the best season to travel.  Weather is perfect to go out and explore places.  Our family normally travels at least once a year, either domestic or international flight.  And with my growing LO, he needs his own luggage.  We have been seeing Trunki at the mall many times but for me it's just another fad that makes children throw tantrums, we passed it up all the time.  During the Baby Expo, we found the distributor of Trunki giving it away for 70% discount.  That made me have a second look and eventaully decided to get it for our boy.  I can say it's functional.  I can put all his stuff in it, use it as carry-on luggage, has 4 small and secret pockets (see the yellow arrows), has lock, ID slip, use it as stroller (accdg to the lady it can carry up to 30kg toddler), cute design (there are various designs for boys and girls), he can play with it but most of all, he feels responsible and proud that he has a luggage that he can call his own.  Verdict: Worthy!

UPDATE: We use Trunki on our recent trip.  You can view the video below.  At first, it's quite hard to maneuver it but when you get the hang of it, it will be easy.  We are glad we purchased it. Oh by the way, his luggage is carrying stuff with more than 7kg:)

the bags...

HAHAHA..what a title!!!! Yeah, Im so happy with my new bags, yes with S coz I just got 2 new bags yesterday. around 2 weeks ago, hubby ask me if I could help him choose a bag for his officemate's mother. He told me that his officemate wants to give her mom a bag as pasalubong but not sure of what kind coz she's not into bag. Last week, we were suppose to buy the said bag but due to time constraints we weren't able to. Yesterday, I'm not in the mood to go malling but hubby insisted, saying he wants to go out after a week of stress from work. So, I gave in anyway. After waiting him from going online(coz of work) in one of the computer shop and I visited my derma, he walked me to the bag section where I told him I know where we can find nice designs that's not so expensive. I was so honest of choosing a mother-type design bag but he insisted that if I am the person will I use the bag, so I made another round then I chose I remember 4 designs to choose from. Since Im also on the lookout of my own bag, I chose one for myself then he chose the other for his officemate. When I gave him the one I chose for myself, he keeps on saying "wag na, next time na lang wala na tayong pera" then I said "e ako naman magbabayad hindi ikaw e". So, to cut the story short, we bought 2 bags then I even use my debit card eventhough he insisted to give his money. I told him, just return the money when she(his officemate) pays him. When we got home, he keeps on telling him to open the shopping bag to see how nice the bags are...take note, he's not like this ever, not even once. Since Im also excited with my own bag, I took that and leave the other one. Then to my surprise, he was giving to me the other and telling me that it's really for me. He just wanted to get something that I really want, something I will use not just keeping it. Im so shocked and speechless, I thought he's kidding but he said, its really for me. All of a sudden, things keep running through my mind like "sana ung mahal na bag na gusto ko na lang ung tinuro ko" or "sana sinamahan ko na ng shoes". Nevertheless, Im happy with my hubby. Marunong rin pala magsurprise kakaibang surprise nga lang(dapat me tampo drama muna ako)and super duper late for Valentine's day and our anniversary. Technically, ako pa rin bumili nung bag pero at least the thought came from him, happy na rin ako. SO now I have 2 new bags...I LLAAAAVVVVVEEEEEETTTTTTTT!!!!
